Institute for Strategic Studies, The National Security Council,
had organized Conference on "Theoretical and practical issues of the human security" on 24 April 2009.
The main aim of the Conference was discussion of modern world human security theoretical tendencies and valnurable issues of the human security in the modern Mongolian society.
Mrs. Anna Biolik, Ambassador of Canada in Mongolia from the Federal Republic of Germany Mr. Wolfgang Fischer had taken part in the conference.
And professor Robert Bedeski, Victoria University of Canada and Dr. Bert Edstrom from the Swedish institute for national security and development policy had taken part and given interestind presentations. And researchers and lecturers from the Mongolian National development Institute, Center for international and Security studies of the Defence University and Population fund of the UN.
Prof. R.Bedeski "Theory and perspectives of the human security", Dr. B.Edstrom "Theoretical and practical issue (Japan model) of the human security", Senior expert ISS Mrs. Ts.Bumkhorol "Modern condition of Mongolian human security and some future considerations", and expert ISS Mrs. N.Soyolgerel "Meaaurement for Mongolian human security" had presented of the Conference.
